AP Chambers partners with police for safer roads

Visakhapatnam: In a novel initiative, AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation has come forward to enter into an agreement with the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate to control traffic at certain areas by deploying volunteers.

A team from AP Chambers met Dr. A Ravi Shankar, Commissioner of Police to discuss the new initiative of ‘focused stretch management’ to reduce the accidents by identifying accident hotspots and strengthening these stretches by adopting 24×7 with active involvement of traffic volunteers.

AP Chambers pledged total commitment to support the initiative to reduce accidents and save precious lives.
